Panasonic Heating & Cooling Unveils New Brand Identity for Europe
05/10/2026

Panasonic Heating & Cooling has strengthened its European operations through a new dedicated organisational structure and major investment in regional manufacturing, R&D and skills, marked by the launch of a new logo and refreshed visual brand identity.
The new identity follows the formation of Panasonic
HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. on 1 April
2026, which brought together Panasonic’s global heating, ventilation, air
conditioning and cold-chain activities under one dedicated organisation focused
on solutions connected to air, water and food preservation.
In Europe, the refreshed brand identity reflects Panasonic’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability and long-term customer value, combining global expertise with solutions tailored to regional needs, as customers respond to energy efficiency, decarbonisation, electrification and responsible heating and cooling priorities.
The most recent example includes Panasonic’s €320 million
expansion and refurbishment of its heat pump production facility in Pilsen,
Czech Republic.
The Pilsen site brings production and R&D closer to
European customers and operates as a Net Zero site, supported by green energy
purchases, a 1 MW photovoltaic roof system, smart building management and
resource efficiency measures.
Panasonic’s wider European footprint includes investment
in specialist manufacturing, R&D and training facilities across the region:
· Pilsen, Czech Republic: €320 million expansion of heat pump production, supporting the
manufacture of solutions including the Aquarea M Series.
· Tillières-sur-Avre, France: R&D and manufacturing capabilities for hydronic and
specialist HVAC solutions.
· Barlassina, Italy: Commercial HVAC R&D and manufacturing, supported by a dedicated
training facility.
· Poland: R&D and
manufacturing capabilities for commercial and CO₂ refrigeration solutions.
· Cardiff, UK: Renewable
energy demonstration facility showcasing integrated heating and energy
technologies.
Enrique Vilamitjana, Managing Director of Panasonic
Heating & Cooling Europe, commented: “Europe’s heating and cooling needs
are changing quickly. Customers are looking for solutions that reduce energy
use, support decarbonisation and deliver reliable comfort over the long term.
Our renewed identity reflects a business combining Panasonic’s global
technology strength with solutions that are relevant to the European market.”
Enrique further added: “This brand evolution builds on
Panasonic’s century-long engineering heritage, while reflecting our continued
investment in the future. By expanding our European manufacturing, R&D and
training capabilities, we can strengthen our ability to respond to customer
needs with greater speed, relevance and resilience, while demonstrating our
long-term commitment to the region.”
Through efficient heating, cooling and refrigeration
technologies, smart controls and continued innovation, Panasonic aims to help
customers address Europe’s priorities for energy performance, electrification,
indoor comfort and responsible resource use.
