Panasonic Launch New 10kW Wall Mounted PACi Unit
21/11/2014
With a focus on energy-saving solutions, Panasonic has extended its PACi range to include a new 10kW unit. This new unit is ideal for a range of applications including gyms, studios and computer server rooms.
The PACi 10kW is part of Panasonic’s latest line-up of commercial air conditioning units. Accommodating a high SEER and a SCOP rating of A++/A, both the Standard and Elite models are designed for high-demand applications, making them more energy-efficient than ever before.
These units are among the quietest in the industry and following a 15% reduction in overall size, their sleek, compact design ensures a discreet installation - even where space is limited and with three options for pipe outlets, rear, right and left, installation has been made easier. The unit’s flat faced front panel can be easily removed and washed for easy, trouble-free cleaning. When the unit is turned off, the flap closes completely to prevent dust getting into the unit keeping the equipment clean.
With costs continuing to rise, it is now more important than ever for building owners to be able to monitor their energy consumption. Key features of the PACi 10kW units include:
• Comfort improvement – Air distribution is altered depending on the operational mode of the unit.
• DC FAN motor provides better efficiency and control
• Easy connection and control of external fan with the remote control of the unit
• 10kW cooling capacity which in combination– with PAW-PACR3 technology, is ideal for server room applications.
• Consumption monitoring when using Elite PAC-i outdoor unit and the remote control CZ-RTC3.
“This extension to the successful PACi range shows our commitment to providing the professional sector with the most comprehensive solutions available” says Marc Diaz, Panasonic UK Country Manager. “Its increased capacity coupled with a compact design and ease of installation makes it ideal for commercial applications.”
