Panasonic’s Country Manager
Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions announces the retirement of Vincent Mahony, Ireland’s Country Manager, following over 20 years of dedicated service. Laurence Cox will assume the role, bringing extensive experience in the construction and HVAC sectors.
Vincent Mahony has led Panasonic’s Irish operations with distinction, earning a reputation for his calm leadership skills, reliability, and strategic vision. Beginning his career in 1980 as a sales engineer for an air conditioning installation company, he quickly advanced to director roles, later joining Sanyo and ultimately heading Panasonic’s heating and cooling team in Ireland. His contributions have been instrumental in Panasonic’s growth and reputation in the region.
“It has been a privilege to lead Panasonic’s team in Ireland. I am proud of what we have achieved together and confident that Laurence Cox will continue to drive success,” commented Vincent Mahony. “Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the honour of working alongside an exceptional team whose dedication and innovation have helped shape Panasonic’s reputation in Ireland. From pioneering sustainable HVAC solutions to forging strong relationships across the sector, our journey has been one of growth, resilience, and shared purpose.
As I step aside, I do so with full confidence in Laurence Cox due to his wealth of knowledge, deep industry expertise and pragmatic leadership, who will undoubtedly guide Panasonic Ireland into its next chapter of excellence.”
Jose Alves, Regional Director for Panasonic, further added, “I would like to thank Vincent Mahony for his long and outstanding service, which has been instrumental in establishing Panasonic’s strong presence and reputation in Ireland. His leadership, dedication, and vision have set a high standard for the team. We are delighted to welcome Laurence Cox as the new Country Manager. Given Laurence’s extensive experience and insight of the industry, I am confident in a seamless transition and look forward to continued growth and innovation in the region.”
