Panasonic Named Finalists in Two categories at the Irish Plumbing & Heating Awards 2025

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted in two prestigious categories in the Irish Plumbing & Heating Awards 2025. The company’s dedication to innovation, quality, and sustainability has earned finalist positions for: 

 

  • Best Innovative Product - RAC Solo air conditioning system  

  • Best Product - Aquarea M Series air-to-water heat pump 

 

These nominations highlight Panasonic’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge, energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions tailored for the Irish market. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner taking place at the Crowne Plaza Blanchardstown, Dublin, on Friday, 7th November 2025.

Panasonic RAC Solo Air Conditioning System 

The RAC Solo is Panasonic’s latest air-to-air heat pump, designed to minimise the aesthetic impact of traditional air conditioning units. The system operates without an outdoor unit, using ducts to maintain a sleek, modern appearance, ideal for urban and residential environments. The system offers multiple operation modes, including cooling, heating, dehumidifying, and ventilation, along with low-noise and energy-saving functions for enhanced comfort and efficiency. 

 

Aquarea M Series Air-to-Water Heat Pump 

The Aquarea M Series is the next generation of renewable heating technology, combining flexibility, high performance, and ultra-low environmental impact. Available from 9kW to 30kW (single and three-phase) and expandable up to 300kW, it features a hydraulic connection that simplifies installation and removes the need for F-gas certification.  

Using R290 natural refrigerant with a GWP of just 3, the M Series delivers efficient heating even in extreme cold, maintaining capacity down to –28°C and achieving water temperatures up to 75°C. With a low noise level of 53dB(A) and an optional super quiet mode, it ensures comfort without compromise. Combining outstanding efficiency, sustainability, and reliability, the Aquarea M Series is ideal for both new builds and retrofit projects.
