CEO of BESA to Judge Panasonic PRO Awards
10/08/2018
Panasonic has announced that David Frise, CEO of Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), will be the UK judge for the Panasonic PRO Awards 2018, which celebrates excellence in the design, specification, installation and commissioning of Panasonic heating and cooling systems.
David Frise is CEO of the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), the UK's leading trade organisation representing firms active in the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, control and management of engineering systems and services in buildings. Previously, David was CEO of FIS, the trade body for the fit-out sector. He started his career as a nuclear submariner and on leaving the Royal Navy became a M&E contractor.
Commenting on the news, David said, “I look forward to joining the judging panel for this year’s PRO Awards. It’s extremely impressive seeing projects that focus on sustainability whilst utilising Panasonic products to save energy and meet the unique demands of each application.”
Tony Nielsen, Marketing Manager at Panasonic, adds: “We’re delighted to have David join such a knowledgeable and prestigious panel of judges from across Europe. If you’d like your work seen by these industry leaders make sure you submit an entry before the deadline.”
David Frise brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the international judging panel, which is made up of leading independent representatives from the heating and cooling industry across Europe. Utilising their expertise, judges will decide which projects demonstrate the most flair and innovation whist showcasing sustainable design, efficiency, cost effectiveness and aesthetics.
The deadline for the Panasonic PRO Awards is 2 November 2018. Judging will then take place before the category winners are announced during winter 2018/19.
Award entries are invited in the following categories:
• Best Residential Project
• Best Commercial Project
