Panasonic - Winners at SEAI Energy Awards 2025 with RAC Solo
11/07/2025
Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Ltd is delighted
to announce their recent award win at the SEAI Energy Awards in Dublin,
achieving a win for the Best Innovative Product with their RAC Solo Air
Conditioning Unit. As well as a gaining a Highly Commended award in the Best
Renewable Product category for its Aquarea M series range of air-to-water heat
pumps, these two accolades are a demonstrable example of the positive impact
the products are making in the energy industry.

The SEAI Energy Awards in Dublin is a highly regarded annual awards for companies in the energy sector with the emphasis on innovation and cutting-edge technology.
Panasonic was amongst the leaders in product innovation, attaining the title of Best Innovation with the RAC Solo, a standalone air-to-air heat pump system. Designed with no outdoor unit or refrigerant connection, and only two 162mm holes, and two ducts, saving installation costs, time and effort. The discreet yet elegant indoor unit boasts a fully metal chassis, providing a premium look with a robust body. The new RAC Solo unit also provides multiple operation modes such as cooling, heating, dehumidifying, as well as functions for noise reduction and energy saving when sleeping.
Equally as impressive, Panasonic’s Aquarea M Series range
of air-to-water heat pumps was awarded a Highly Commended Award in the Best
Renewable product category. The Aquarea M series provides high energy
efficiency for both residential and commercial applications, utilising the more
natural refrigerant R290.

Delivering maximum
efficiency and comfort, the M Series heat pump range maintains a high-water
flow temperature of up to 75°C at -10°C
outside and supplies 55°C hot water at -25°C. The T-CAP technology sustains
heating capacity down to -20°C and can work down to -28°C, ideal for retrofit
projects requiring high water temperatures. Additionally, it can achieve a DHW
storage temperature of up to 65°C or perform a sterilisation cycle without a
direct electric heater. T-CAP technology offers maintained capacity, cost, and
space savings, requiring less power.
This flexible range is
available in capacities from 9kW and 12kW
(Single or 3-phase), and 16kW, 20kW, 25kW, and 30kW (3-phase). The 9kW, 12kW,
and 16kW units can connect to four different indoor unit options. The 20kW,
25kW, and 30kW units offer a Standalone Remote Controller or Control Module,
and the system can provide up to 300kW with an Aquarea cascade unit.
