Panasonic Supports World Refrigeration Day 2025
11/06/2025
Panasonic is
pleased to announce its continued support and sponsorship for World
Refrigeration Day 2025. Set to take place on 26 June during InstallerSHOW, this
year’s theme is ‘Cool Skills’.
World Refrigeration Day (WRD) 2025, the global awareness campaign will incorporate various initiatives to highlight industry skills development and training in the HVAC sector, specifically for refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps and other low-carbon cooling systems.

Recognising
the importance of upskilling current installers as well as the next generation
in the midst of regulatory evolution, Panasonic has expanded its training centres
in the UK and recently launched a new training and energy demonstration facility
in Cardiff, where the site operates on 100% renewable energy by utilising a mix
of the latest heat pump, HX fuel cell and hydrogen technology. This new
investment seeks to further expand the company’s commitment to HVAC&R
training and complement its existing training facilities across the country.
Panasonic’s
schedule of in-person sessions enables installers and HVAC professionals to get
hands-on with Panasonic’s air-to-air, air-to-water and refrigeration solutions
in-situ.
This year
Panasonic UK team will be celebrating WRD 2025 at InstallerSHOW, taking place
at the NEC in Birmingham, where they will be displaying their wide range of HVAC
innovative solutions on stand 5C44 with a chance for visitors to book future
training sessions.
John Kellett, UK & Ireland Country Manager for Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions, commented, “It is a privilege to show our support for World Refrigeration Day 2025, and spread the important message to promote training in the heating and cooling sector. At Panasonic, we acknowledge how critical it is to upskill current and future HVAC installers as there is a growing shift towards more renewable options. Our training sessions aid this transition and ensures that we are carrying people with us in the global movement towards more sustainable solutions.”
