Celebrating Excellence in HVAC: Panasonic Announces PRO Awards Winners
14/10/2025

Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions is proud to reveal the winners of this year’s PRO Awards, celebrating a decade of innovation and excellence. The bi-annual award scheme, now in its 10th year, recognises the most outstanding HVAC+R projects across Europe that incorporate Panasonic technologies and demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and forward-thinking design.
The fifth edition attracted a high volume of entries from a wide range of markets and countries across Europe, underscoring the exceptional quality of projects currently underway in the HVAC sector. Submissions were judged across four core categories: Best Residential Single House Project, Best Residential Multi Family House Project, Best Hospitality Project, and Best Commercial Project. In addition, the judges recognised standout achievements in five special categories: Best Innovative Project, Best Green ImpACT Project, Best Natural Refrigeration Project in Heating, Best Natural Refrigeration Project in Cold Chain, and Best Indoor Air Quality Project.
"We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding projects that have emerged through this year’s PRO Awards," said Enrique Vilamitjana, Panasonic HVAC Managing Director. "These projects not only demonstrate the high standards of quality and innovation associated with Panasonic products but also highlight our commitment to sustainability and excellence in the HVAC industry.”
The judging panel for this year’s
PRO Awards brought together a wealth of expertise from across Panasonic. They
were joined by guest judge Marta San Román, General Director of AFEC
and Member of the Board of the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA), whose
perspective brought an added layer of industry-wide relevance to the selection
process. Together, the panel carefully evaluated each submission for its
innovation, performance and contribution to a more sustainable future.

The awards ceremony took place in Czech Republic. Guests had the opportunity to tour Panasonic’s recently expanded Pilsen factory to see first-hand how its Aquarea heat pumps are manufactured. Panasonic has invested €320 million to transform the former TV plant into one of Europe’s largest heat pump production facilities, expanding its size by 250% to 140,000m².
The breadth and diversity of submissions provided valuable insight into the evolving landscape of the HVAC industry across Europe. Key trends emerged, including a strong emphasis on decarbonisation, the adoption of natural refrigerants, and the integration of smart, energy-efficient technologies. There is a growing focus on improving indoor air quality and designing solutions that prioritise occupant comfort while reducing environmental impact. Collaborative efforts between public and private sectors are driving innovation, as more projects aim to achieve ambitious sustainability goals. This collective momentum showcases a shared commitment to shaping a more sustainable and technologically advanced future for heating and cooling, ensuring that excellence and progress are celebrated industry wide.
