Mick Langford appointed as new UK Country Manager for Panasonic
15/09/2025

Panasonic is pleased to announce the appointment of Mick Langford as the new UK Country Manager for the heating and cooling division, effective from 15th September 2025. Mick brings over 40 years of industry and technical expertise to the role.
Mick commenced his career as a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer and has advanced to his current role as a highly regarded Senior Manager, earning recognition for his leadership and expertise within the industry. With extensive experience in engineering, sales and manufacturing, Mick is skilled in change management, and innovative problem solving. His HVAC knowledge, combined with his hand-on experience as an installer and his work with several leading industry manufactures, makes him an ideal fit to lead the Panasonic UK team. Mick joined Panasonic six years ago and quickly advanced to Head of Air-to-Air Sales for the UK, and more recently, Head of Sales and Marketing for the UK division.
John Kellett, the previous UK Country Manager for Panasonic has stepped down from the role due to personal reasons. He wishes Mick all the best in his new position and commented, “Mick’s appointment marks an exciting chapter for Panasonic in the UK, and I’m confident that under his leadership, the team will continue to deliver exceptional results.”
This appointment is particularly timely for the heating and cooling sector, coinciding with the industry's growth driven by climate change and fluctuating temperatures.
Mick
Langford commented: "I am delighted to be appointed as the UK Country
Manager for Panasonic UK. The strength of the innovative renewable technologies
recently launched by Panasonic along with our strong networks across the UK, positions
the company well for growth. The business has plenty to offer the market, and I
look forward to working with the team towards a bright future together.”
Jose Alves, Regional Director for the UK, Ireland and DACH region added, “Having worked closely Mick over the last six years, I am positive that Mick will take the company to the next level and will provide a thriving and strong team to develop the business within the UK.”
