Panasonic’s Sleek FK1 Fan Coil Unit with nanoe™ X Enhances Residential and Commercial Spaces
12/11/2025

Panasonic Heating & Cooling has launched the FK1, its first water fan coil unit featuring cutting-edge nanoe™ X technology. Offering continuous, round-the-clock air purification, the FK1 is engineered to deliver enhanced protection and a healthier indoor environment across both residential and commercial applications.
Boasting
a sleek, contemporary design, the wall-mounted FK1 seamlessly blends into any
setting, combining style with exceptional performance. With a wide capacity
range, cooling from 1.9 to 5.2kW and heating from 2.2 to 5.3kW, the FK1 is a
versatile solution suitable for homes, offices, hotels, shops, and restaurants.
Available in six sizes and two configurations (with or without a 3-way valve),
the FK1 ensures adaptability for various installation requirements.
Panasonic’s
advanced nanoe™ X technology (Generator Mark 3) comes built-in as standard. The
technology generates an impressive 48 trillion hydroxyl radicals per second.
These radicals, abundant in nature, are known for their ability to inhibit
pollutants, certain viruses, and bacteria, ensuring cleaner air and surfaces
indoors.

The
FK1 fan coil unit is equipped with a high-efficiency DC fan motor, offering
quiet operation and optimal acoustic comfort. Motorised inner and outer louvers
with five-step positions allow precise control over airflow direction and
volume, easily adjusted to suit different room layouts and usage patterns.

The
new FK1 unit is fully compatible with all Panasonic commercial single and
centralised remote controls, including both wired and infrared models, as well
as Panasonic’s centralised controllers. This comprehensive control and
connectivity platform provides a unified solution that ensures flexibility and
seamless integration across a wide range of applications.
Looking
ahead, Panasonic is committed to further expanding its fan coil unit line-up,
incorporating built-in nanoe™ X technology across future models. This ongoing
innovation will continue to elevate standards of indoor air quality and
comfort, providing even greater peace of mind for homeowners and businesses
alike.
