Panasonic brings energy-efficient home heating and cooling to Selfbuild Ulster
23/10/2026

The line-up spans sustainable home comfort systems
including air-to-water heat pumps and stand-alone heating and cooling solutions
for self-build and renovation projects.
For homeowners seeking a more sustainable alternative to
oil or gas heating, Panasonic’s Aquarea heat pumps use electricity to capture
heat from the air, helping to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lower
operational carbon emissions.
Aquarea EcoFleX combines air-to-water and air-to-air heat
pump technology to deliver heating, cooling and domestic hot water from one
system. Indoor options include Etherea wall-mounted and EcoFleX ducted units,
with nanoe™ X technology to support indoor air quality and connectivity through
Panasonic’s Comfort and Service Cloud platforms.
Aquarea T-CAP M Series air-to-water heat pumps utilise
the more natural R290 refrigerant and are available in 9, 12 and 16kW
capacities for new-build and retrofit applications. Compatible with existing
water systems, the range can deliver water temperatures of up to 75°C at
outdoor temperatures as low as −15°C.
Also on show will be Panasonic’s RAC Solo unit, a compact
heating and cooling unit requiring no outdoor unit. Its slim, full-metal body
is just 16.5cm deep, with installation through two small openings in an
external wall and no external refrigerant connections.
The Aquarea domestic hot water tank with a built-in heat
pump completes the display. Designed for modern homes and apartments, it
combines hot water storage with a tank-mounted heat pump for energy-efficient
water heating.
The Panasonic Ireland team will be available on stand D48
throughout the weekend to discuss visitors’ projects and product
suitability.
