Panasonic champions ‘Cool Intelligence’ as it supports World Refrigeration Day 2026
22/06/2026

Panasonic is pleased to announce its continued support and sponsorship of World Refrigeration Day (WRD) 2026. Taking place on 26 June during InstallerSHOW, this year’s theme is ‘Cool Intelligence’.
World Refrigeration Day 2026, the global awareness campaign, will focus on the importance of intelligent cooling and heating, not only in terms of advanced technologies and digital innovation, but also the knowledge, skill, judgement and experience that underpin effective system design, installation, maintenance and operation.
The campaign highlights that truly intelligent solutions are those that are properly applied and responsibly delivered. From refrigeration and air conditioning to heat pumps and low-carbon systems, the industry’s essential contribution to society relies on a deep understanding of how technologies perform in real-world environments.
At Panasonic, this philosophy is reflected in its approach to developing and deploying HVAC solutions that combine innovation with practical expertise. The company continues to demonstrate how integrated system design and considered application can deliver efficient, low-carbon heating and cooling across residential and commercial settings.
The Panasonic UK team will celebrate WRD 2026 at InstallerSHOW, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham. Visitors can explore the company’s wide range of innovative HVAC solutions on stand 5C45 and discover how Panasonic is supporting the delivery of sustainable systems that are designed and applied with precision and purpose.
Mick Langford, UK Country Manager for Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions, commented:
“World Refrigeration Day 2026 highlights something fundamental to our industry, that true progress isn’t just about new technologies, but about how they are applied.
At Panasonic, we recognise that ‘Cool Intelligence’ goes beyond innovation alone. It is about the expertise, judgement and experience that enable systems to perform effectively, efficiently and sustainably in the real world.”
