Panasonic deepens relationship with City Plumbing Supplies in major boost for Aquarea A2W Heat Pump sales
04/12/2020
Bracknell
UK, 3 December 2020 - Panasonic has announced that they are working closely
with City Plumbing Supplies across their UK outlets for further distribution of
Aquarea Air Source Heat Pumps.
The
aim is to help UK installers meet the increased demand for energy-efficient
heat pumps since the launch of the UK government’s Green Homes Grant. City
Plumbing Supplies will now supply Panasonic’s range of Aquarea Air-to-Water heat
pumps and cloud based smart controllers from its branches across the UK.
Jose Manuel Alves, UK Country Manager for Panasonic explains, “We are delighted to further our relationship with City Plumbing Supplies. The company has a large UK reach and knowledgeable team within their stores. Their reach will help us satisfy customer demand across the UK for our Aquarea air source heat pumps. With the breadth of sizes, capacities and capabilities, the Aquara range of air-to-water heat pumps is the widest on the market – and from a such a wide range, systems are available to suit all sizes of property and capacity requirements. With City Plumbing’s nationwide network of 370 branches, and with the widest range of Air-to-Water heat pumps available in the Aquarea range – this partnership will provide installers with great opportunities to capitalise on increased consumer demand for energy-efficient heating solutions.”
Steve Parry, Category Manager
of City Plumbing Supplies comments, “With the market clearly moving towards
renewable heat sources and the drive around upcoming government legislation, we
are seeing an increase in customer demand for products such as air source heat
pumps. We are excited to work with Panasonic to offer such an energy efficient
heating and hot water solution and we are delighted to be able to expand our
heat pump offering to our customers"
In a
further bid to boost sales, Panasonic is also offering further support. Launched in October 2020, and running to 31
March 2021, the Panasonic Green Install Cashback scheme provides qualifying
installers with £800 on the successful installation of five Aquarea heat pumps. A consumer scheme is also running - the Panasonic
Green Homes Cashback scheme is for homeowners, who after satisfying the scheme
conditions, can claim up to £600 cashback on the installation of an Aquarea
heat pump unit*.
These
new Panasonic schemes are available throughout the UK and run in parallel, but
independent of, the Green Homes Grant (1 October 2020 to 31 March
2021) and offers additional cash incentives to renewables installers.
