Panasonic Strengthens Residential Heating Portfolio with the Launch of Aquarea DHW Heat Pump
08/07/2025
Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has expanded
its residential heating technology with the launch of its Aquarea Domestic Hot
Water (DHW) Heat Pump - a complete R290 heat pump system and DHW Tank, which is
designed to heat water efficiently. Available as a floor-standing or
wall-mounted unit, the innovative heat pump is set to be a sustainable and
efficient solution for households.
Designed to meet the growing demand for
eco-friendly and high-performance heating solutions, the Aquarea DHW Heat Pump
offers an impressive A+ energy rank and operates efficiently in a wide range of
temperatures from -7ºC up to 43ºC. Reaching maximum temperatures of up to 65°C
as a standalone heat pump or 75°C with an accompanying heating element, the
Aquarea DHW Heat Pump offers outstanding performance capabilities for all
households.
The versatile unit is designed to integrate
into any space, with flexible installation options including vertical or
horizontal air ducts and ductless configuration where applicable. Maintenance
is streamlined with a design that allows for dry inspection, whilst the enamelled
water storage tank, equipped with a replaceable magnesium anode to prevent
against corrosion, extends the lifespan of the unit.
The heat pump is equipped with intuitive and
user-friendly touch controls, providing six operational modes and five
functions, enabling homeowners to maintain optimal comfort in their homes at
all times.
The standalone unit supports PV contact and is
compatible with external recirculation pumps. When equipped with an additional
coil, it offers advanced connectivity, enabling integration with hybrid systems
and solar thermal collectors.
The Aquarea DHW Heat Pump is now available,
providing households with a reliable and efficient option for maintaining
comfort within the home.
