Panasonic joins Better Buildings Summit focussing on IAQ,
Well-being and Decarbonisation
Panasonic
Heating & Cooling Solutions is taking part in the H&V News Better
Buildings Summit with a panel discussion covering the importance of air quality
and its impact on health, well-being, and productivity.
Orlaith Gillen, Account Manager at Panasonic, will be joining the expert panel discussion at 14:10 on 29th March. The session will be delving into and assessing technologies for Indoor Air Quality whilst also considering the environmental impact of improving building indoor environments, whether residential or commercial. The pandemic has thrown the spotlight not only on the increase in hybrid working but also on the importance of air quality and its impact on both well-being and productivity. Panasonic has been developing its nanoeTMX technology since 2003, a unique solution harnessing the power of hydroxyl radicals (also known as OH radicals) which are proven to inhibit certain types of bacteria, viruses (including SARS-CoV-2), mould, allergens, pollen, and certain hazardous substances.
The H&V
News Better Buildings Summit will be taking a holistic view of safety, well-being,
decarbonisation and energy efficiency – issues that need to be addressed
together in order to achieve the right outcomes for building owners and
occupants alike. The
online Summit will feature and give direct access to leading industry experts to
discuss the important cutting-edge developments and provide the latest insights
around IAQ and broader guidance into how the HVAC sector should take-action.
Orlaith commented, “The event provides an opportunity to unite with peers and the wider industry, it will bring together valuable voices ‘in the room’ for a day of collaboration. The issue of indoor air quality and the broader topic of wellbeing and decarbonisation has never been more important as businesses across the nation open up their premises again.”
